Our Chapter is run by 100% volunteerism. In order to coordinate all the leagues, events, educational programs, golf, social and networking events, we need active participation from our members. If you are interested in getting more involved, please check out the committee volunteer opportunities below.
From becoming a member of a committee to volunteering at a single event, we have an opportunity to meet your desire and availability.
Many of the positions listed below have specific titles. These are general more specific positions that are needed year after year and thus we have given them titles so that they are easier to track. Others are more general in title, but just as important to helping make each committee a success.
Each position is followed by a clock graphic that depicts the average time commitment required. Use the table below as a guide when browsing the opportunities available.

Under 15 hours total. These are generally for a specific one time event or task, but might be a committee position that is only needed for part of the year. |

Communications Committee

- Do you have a digital camera? Do you like to take pictures? We need a photographer for each event so we can update our website,

- Candidate(s) should be able to attend most social and golf events and will be responsible for preparing digital images for use by
other committee members.

Golfer Education & Player Development Committee

- Plan and Create with the Education Chair the years Education Calendar.
- Determine whether to add or drop professional teachers for clinics, the number and location of clinics to be held.
- Communicate with pro's to set schedule of the clinics they will be teaching.
- Organize information for website and Kick-Off packets.
- Participate at the Kick-off Event to man the Education table with the Education Chair.
- Work with the Handicap Chair to organize dates for the Rules and Etiquette Meetings. The Handicap Committee will organize those events.
- Organize the Business Golf event.
- Coordinate with the other Coordinators on the Committee to ensure that each of the areas is successful. Step in to assist when needed.
- Report back to the Education Chair any problems.
- Prepare to step into the Education Chair position in the upcoming year.

- You will be paired with one of our professional teachers and will receive the schedule of clinics.
- The week before each clinic, run a report of participants, E-mail a reminder to the participants about the clinic and E-mail the professional the list of participants.
- Report back to the Education Chair any problems.

Golf Events Committee
- Golf Event Coordinator (Two Positions)

Time will vary for each golf event, and is more spread out so it can be done on
your time frame. Most of the work can be done at your home/office. |

- Coordinate with the golf course for the event (Examples: What type of golf event we want to have at their course,
negotiate the price we will pay including food deals, are range balls and carts included in the price, etc.)
- Help decide on gifts for the participants and hole events and perhaps ordering logo gifts if needed
- On the day of the event you would be checking in people and helping with the distribution of prizes after the round
- There are golf events that the golf events chair does not put on so there would be follow up with those people that held the event to
find out the details of how many actual people came, cost of the golf, prizes given out and the cost of those prizes, etc.
- After each event there would be phone time with the Golf Events chair person to review progress, ideas and updates

- Each year we have board positions that are elected. The President, Vice President and either the Treasurer or the Secretary are elected

- The Nominating Committee consists of several people including the leadership chair and the outgoing president that nominate fellow members for these positions and run the final election process.
