Linda Kuryloski, Certified Financial Planner

Golf has become a huge part of my sports and social life. My husband is a big golf fan and we frequently play golf at weekends and incorporate it into vacations when we can.
I have been involved with EWGA for a number of years and was delighted to run the Bobby Jones league back in 2004. I consider the social side of golf to be just as much fun as the sport itself. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERâ„¢, I am pleased to say that a number of clients have trusted me with their money after spending time together on a golf course.
One of my favorite moments on a golf course was the first time I broke 100. It was in 2005. I had said to my husband at the start of the year that this was going to be the year I was going to break 100. Thankfully I did....on December 31st!
We have been lucky to play golf in different parts of the world and especially enjoyed Kapalua in Maui. My husband is British so we play in England when we go back. I was terrified one time when we played the beautiful seaside course of Trevose, in Cornwall. It was a big event and I had to tee off the first tee in front of about 200 people. Thankfully I made contact and looked up to see the ball sailing down the middle.
Our wish list in golf Includes a trip to Pebble Beach and the Monteray Peninsular, a tour of Scotland including St. Andrews and a tour of Ireland including Ballybunion.
