Twanda Mickle - EWGA Member since 2007; Chapter Chair for Membership
My goal as the 2013 Membership Chair is to connect with current, former and prospective members to create a positive atmosphere for membership growth and retention. We want to make members aware of the personal and professional benefits that can be gained by actively participating in our club. I want to focus on quality of membership versus quantity of membership. We want every member to have a positive experience each time she comes out to participate with us.
I am a Louisiana native who moved to Georgia in 1997.
I’ve been a member of EWGA since 2007. I am a Practice Manager at ASAP Solutions, LLC, an IT Consulting firm based in Norcross, GA. I have been addicted to golf for about 5 years now. I’ve spent the last year working very hard on my game and have gone from a 22 handicap to a 12 in just over a year. My golfing highlight is still the hole-in-one at the EWGA Eagle’s Landing event on May 7. I had my second hole-in-one just three months later at Charlie Yates. My husband Curtis and I are members at Heritage Golf Links, but play courses all around the city.
The best support that members can provide is to spread the word to their friends, associates, co-workers and others in the golfing community about what EWGA has to offer. Share your story about why you are a member and how EWGA is beneficial to you, both personally and professionally. Word of mouth from our members is the best incentive anyone can have to join us.
