The Benefits of Volunteering?
Volunteering presents challenges & opportunities to grow. Accept each new experience as a chance to gain professional or personal experience. If you don't know how to do something, this is one of the best environments in which to learn. Volunteer to benefit your business? That doesn’t sound very altruistic. And while that probably shouldn’t be the primary reason to volunteer, it’s certainly a nice perk. Most people who offer their time are conscientious, honest, hard-working individuals. When a person devotes time & energy to causes or issues about which she feels strongly, it reflects a commitment to more than day-to-day activities and selfish ambitions. It shows character. Employers welcome prospective employees who have these kinds of activities on their resume. Many volunteers just want to give back and promote a worthwhile activity. They do it because it makes them feel good to share their skills, feel needed and appreciated, or do something different. It gives them a &private smile&.

GOLF EVENTS
In addition to a committee vice chair, we are always in need of volunteers for golf events registration - usually a 2 hour commitment. 10 spotters are needed for the Chapter Championship on July 11th.
